The International Uniform EFP Transaction Agreement was developed by the Futures Industry Association (FIA) in conjunction with the Managed Futures Association (MFA), the FOA and a number of major exchanges. It was designed to facilitate the documentation of exchange of futures for physicals (EFP) transactions by establishing a common industry approach to the legal and commercial obligations of the parties to such transactions.
