This updating service will be subject to an additional annual charge. Members should be aware that subscribing to annual updates is not optional. The libraries must reflect the latest regulatory and legal changes and therefore the ongoing monitoring/updating process must continue throughout the year. In order to keep the costs for each firm associated with this process down to manageable levels, it is hoped that all firms will pay the updating fee. Those firms that choose not to pay the annual update subscription fee will have access to the library for only a limited period. Thereafter their access permissions will be cancelled. If such a firm wishes to rejoin a library at a later date, another joining fee would be payable.

The Annual Updating Fees vary from year to year but the fees for the General FSMA library for 2007/8 should be no more than £2k + VAT per library member.
