The SII / FOA REGULATORY UPDATE Publication The Regulatory Update is available exclusively to SII and FOA members. It is published quarterly. It describes recent and future changes in UK and EU regulation under four headings – The Financial Services Authority, Individual Financial Sectors, Other UK regulatory changes and EU Directives and Policies. The information is provided in three levels – a short high level Contents description (to enable you to select points of interest), a more detailed description of the change (on average about 10 lines), and – for those who want much more information – there is often a website link. To enable you quickly to see which points apply to your industry sector, each Contents description is coded by sector as follows: Asset Management (Asm) Corporate Finance (Co Fin) Derivatives (Der) Hedge Funds and Private Equity (Hpe) Investment Banks and Capital Markets (Inv Bk) Private Wealth Management (Pwm) Retail Intermediaries (RI) FOA members wishing to provide feedback on the Update should email their comments to regulatoryupdate@sii.org.uk YOU WILL NEED TO LOG ONTO THE WEBSITE IN ORDER TO VIEW THE BELOW PUBLICATION.
