Annual General Meeting

The FOA’s Annual General Meeting was held on 19th December at the offices of Credit Lyonnais Rouse and was attended by some 40 member representatives. Roy Leighton, Chairman of the FOA, thanked all members for supporting the association’s activities and referred to the steps being taken by the FOA to provide support to the membership and the industry in the event of a major disaster taking place in Europe. Looking to the future, Anthony Belchambers highlighted the significant increase in the FOA’s role in Europe due to the drive for regulatory harmonisation and completion of the single market in financial services. He also anticipated an increase in the number of member projects developed by the FOA. After the business was completed, members joined the Chairman and Board over a glass of wine.
