	Clearing and Settlement Workshop

A Clearing & Settlement Workshop will be held with Sungard Futures Systems on 4 December 9:30 am - 11 am at the FOA's new offices at 150 Minories. The agenda for the workshop will include the following items:

· Product developments supporting CCP - LCH, Clearnet, Eurex initiatives
· Development plans for the GMI suite of products
· Relationship with exchanges
· Operational issues - training, helpdesk support etc
· Visions/plans for the future

	Clearing and Settlement Forum - 26 November

The FOA is planning to dedicate the next C&S Forum to the evolving European power and gas markets and their associated clearing and settlement mechanisms. The Forum will provide an overview of the various markets, the evolution of OTC and exchange traded derivatives and related clearing arrangements and future trends in product development and clearing/settlement.
