Following the completion of the process of updating netting opinions for the Phase 2 jurisdictions the FOA will be raising with the FSA certain issues with regard to the requirements of the Prudential Sourcebook for netting agreements and opinions.
The Financial Regulation Forum in October heard a presentation from the
FSA on the implementation of new Basel and EU Capital Adequacy standards
with particular emphasis on Operational Risk issues. The FOA continues
to pursue the potential for providing a service to members in this area
and has set up a Working Group to provide feedback and guidance.
