FSA's Requirements for Senior Managers: Mitigating your Regulatory Risk

A course of three half-day workshops held on:
Tuesday 14 January, Tuesday 21 January and Wednesday 29 January 2003

This unique high level FOA course will be led by FSA, Clifford Chance and PricewaterhouseCoopers and is designed to provide senior managers with essential insight into FSA policy and expectations regarding the duties, responsibilities and liability of senior managers across all key disciplines (Workshop One); how they impact on areas of particular difficulty (Workshop Two); and how to maintain compliance in the practical context of two challenging crisis management case studies (Workshop Three).

This course is designed for Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Finance Officers, Board Directors, Heads of Compliance, Internal Audit, the Trading Desk and other divisions and other senior managers.

Cost:
£600 +VAT FOA Members
£750 +VAT Non-Members

This cost covers all three workshops and associated refreshments and course materials.

of each session it will be possible for each of the three workshops
to be attended by a different individual within the firm at no extra cost **

Compliance in Derivatives

This six day course focuses not only on the post N2 UK regulatory environment, but also considers the increasingly important European and global context. The breadth of the course coupled with its unique assessment structure, make it a challenging, but invaluable experience. For those who are dedicated to excellence in the field of derivatives compliance it is a must.

The course combines formal tuition with case studies, home study, assignments and presentations from exchanges, regulators and compliance officers. The assessment consists of course work, tests and an interview. For confirmation, the course will continue to be run by Patrick Thompson, a highly-regarded trainer in this field who has been successfully delivering this course since its inception.

Dates have now been set for 2003 and are as follows:-

Monday 27 & Tuesday 28 January (days 1 & 2)
Monday 24 & Tuesday 25 February (days 3 & 4)
Monday 24 & Tuesday 25 March (days 5 & 6)

Tuesday 22 April 10 am Regulatory Multiple Choice Exam
w/c Monday 28 April Oral Examinations
