The FOA had great pleasure in hosting the Fifth Annual Dinner of the Power Trading Forum in the magnificent surroundings of the Mansion House on Thursday 22 November.

The dinner, now an established fixture in the Power Trading Forum's Calendar, welcomed 360 representatives from the FOA's Power Trading Forum and the wider power and energy market in the UK and Europe.

2008 marks the thirteenth year of this prestigious event, which will take place at the Mansion House on Monday 28 January. Comprising a black-tie dinner followed by a university style debate, this popular event provides an ideal occasion for corporate entertaining and an intellectually stimulating and entertaining evening.

It has become a tradition each year for a percentage of the proceeds to be donated to charity. In 2008 this will include the Lord Mayor's Appeal – ‘Investing in Healthy Lives, Healthy Vision and Healthy Futures'.

New for 2008 – IDX comprises a tradeshow, which will run alongside the International Derivatives Conference, which is now in its fifteenth year. IDX 2008 will include plenary sessions, workshops, keynote speakers and a number of special events. All of which take place during International Derivatives Week in London .
